Responsibilities

Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings and CAD models

Create and modify assembly, erection, fabrication, detail, and other drawings; modify drawings based on mark-ups from Experienced CAD Drafters or Designers, Engineers, and Managers

Maintain CAD files and drawings based on Standards and office procedures

Read and comprehend design drawings and equipment data sheets

Meet all safety, budget, and schedule requirements

Must have a basic understanding of Windows Explorer and how to create, maintain, and organize numerous folders and files

Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times

Maintain a team environment at all times and champion POET in the community

Qualification

Required

High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge of AutoCAD and its commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

Excellent organization and time management skills with a sense of urgency that drives results

Knowledge of the basics of the Microsoft Office Suite and the ability of learning new programs

Ability to think objectively

Ability to work in a team environment

High level of personal integrity

Interpersonal skills – ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels within/outside the organization

Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Preferred

Completed some CAD Drafting classes or equivalent CAD experience

Knowledge of AutoCAD-based drafting systems
