Responsibilities

Provide engineering support for new product and process introductions, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker new product development procedures
Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications
Determine and implement design approaches and parameters and conduct feasibility studies on new designs
Hold active role in New Product Development team discussions. Provide engineering input on key topics to reduce time to market
Analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests and evaluate the results
Select components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements
Aid in the development process by ensuring designs are cost efficient, manufacturable, and reliable
May assist in evaluating vendor capability to support development
Submit periodic reports on assigned topics to manager/supervisor/mentor
Present to team members and leadership on accomplishments during each six-month rotation
May interact with customers to resolve product issues
All other duties as assigned

Required

B.S or M.S. in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline; we will only consider candidates with December 2025 or spring of 2026 graduation dates
3.0 minimum cumulative GPA (or equivalent)
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and not require employment-based sponsorship now or in the future
Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
The individual should enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic and results orientated team environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work cross-functionally and externally as required
Basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals
Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and have the ability to understand geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing
High level of PC Skills required
Excellent attention to detail

Experience in an FDA regulated or regulated industry beneficial
