Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a full-time Manufacturing Technology Engineer. In this role, you will support the design and implementation of new technologies that facilitate the build of our products, while also managing manufacturing projects and providing technical support to production operations.

Responsibilities

Research and analyze manufacturing issues, constraints, or cost drivers in current Lockheed Martin Aeronautics manufacturing processes
Perform project management functions (budget and schedule management, status reporting, cost benefit analysis, etc.) for both government-funded and internally-funded Manufacturing Technology projects
Provide technical status reporting and troubleshooting to Production Operations build areas for Manufacturing Technology's technical project portfolio
Assignment area includes engineering and technical support for projects ranging from manufacturing process development and improvements to manufacturing equipment and system specification, procurement, integration and support
This position will also support team management decisions including: Budgets, Schedules, Technical Project Decisions

Qualification

Advanced manufacturing conceptsAeronautical manufacturing processesProject managementCAD experienceProficient with Microsoft OfficeCommunication skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
Project management experience
Experience working with advanced manufacturing concepts

Preferred

Project management experience
Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Experience with aeronautical manufacturing processes
CAD experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office
