Responsibilities
Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the Solutions Engineering team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and effective support for complex, strategic sales opportunities
Partner closely with Sales leadership to shape and execute demonstration strategies, technical proposals, and customer engagement models across key accounts
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating team performance metrics and synthesizing frontline feedback to refine tools, processes, and internal documentation
Develop and implement onboarding and development programs, including coaching, shadowing, and skill advancement plans that support both individual and team capability growth
Conduct performance evaluations and lead career development initiatives by creating and executing individualized development plans that support long-term professional progression
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to define team requirements, lead structured interview processes, and contribute to hiring decisions to scale team capabilities
Serve as a strategic liaison between Solutions Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product, Marketing, Support), facilitating escalation of customer insights to drive solution innovation and operational efficiency
Travel up to 30%
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 12-15 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of leadership experience
Familiarity of MEDDIC / Command of the Message or similar qualification framework
Deep understanding of DevOps industry trends and tooling
Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities and requirements
