3+ years expTPO search is an Am Law 100 firm seeking a Real Estate Lending Associate to join its expanding finance team in either New York or Charlotte. This client-facing role will involve representing lenders in high-value transactions and sophisticated lender-side work in real estate-secured and asset-based lending transactions.

Responsibilities
Represent lenders in the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans
Draft and negotiate loan agreements, intercreditor agreements, and security documents
Review title, survey, and due diligence materials
Advise on structuring and execution of real estate and asset-backed financing transactions
Qualification
Required
3–5 years PQE | Real Estate & Asset-Based Lending
3–5 years of real estate finance experience, ideally on the lender side
Comfortable managing deal flow and drafting loan documentation
Familiar with both real estate and personal property collateral structures
Admitted to the NY or NC Bar (or eligible to waive in)
JD from a respected law school with strong academic credentials
