HTB Safeguarding Assistant
Alpha International is seeking a HTB Safeguarding Assistant to provide high-quality administrative support to the Group Safeguarding Lead and the wider HTB Group. The role includes managing compliance dashboards, assisting with safeguarding training, and maintaining accurate safeguarding records while ensuring effective communication of policies and procedures.

Responsibilities
Manage the Dashboard (an app to measure and report compliance) for the 6 sites
Manage safer recruitment across the entities
Assist with safeguarding training
Assist with the management of concerns raised
Key part of the safeguarding working group (and note taker)
Assist with Focus preparations and part of the safeguarding team at the event
Any Other Duties As Required By The Line Manager
Maintain accurate and confidential safeguarding records in line with data protection requirements
Assist in preparing reports, documentation, and compliance audits
Support the Safeguarding Lead in managing safeguarding concerns and referrals
Liaise with internal teams and external agencies as directed
Ensure safeguarding policies are up to date and communicated effectively
Assist with staff training coordination and safeguarding awareness campaigns
Track safeguarding incidents and produce regular reports for management
Help monitor compliance with statutory and organizational safeguarding requirements

Preferred
Experience of office and administrative work
Experience of meeting planning
Experience of minute taking, including meetings regarding complex matters
Experience of dealing with enquiries from members of the public
Evidence of dealing with confidential and sensitive material
Evidence of collaborative working as part of a team
Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding within the Church of England and safer recruitment processes desirable
