Start in 2026Amazon is seeking Cloud Support Engineer interns to join the AWS Support team, where they will learn and troubleshoot complex cloud technology issues. Interns will engage with customers, apply advanced troubleshooting techniques, and drive initiatives to enhance the customer support experience.

Responsibilities
You will be primarily responsible for solving customer’s cases through a variety of contact channels (telephone, email, and web/live chat), applying advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide tailored solutions and working with them to dive deep into the root cause of an issue
You will drive initiatives that improve support-related processes and our customers’ experience. These can include tutorials, how-to videos, technical articles, trainings, among others
You will leverage your customer support experience to provide feedback to internal AWS teams on how to improve our services, and work on critical, highly complex customer problems that may span multiple AWS services
You will be continuously learning groundbreaking technologies, and developing new technical skills and other professional competencies
You will act as interviewer in hiring processes, and coach/mentor new team members
Qualification
Required
Are 18 years of age or older
Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
Can work 40 hours/week minimum and commit to 12 week internship maximum
Are enrolled in a academic program that is physically located in the United States
Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service
Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud computing such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc
Experience demonstrating software engineering skills in a previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
Preferred
Knowledge of OS concepts / Linux/Unix Systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc)
Knowledge of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS) /Database
