Responsibilities

Lead and manage public works infrastructure projects from conception to completion

Oversee stormwater management initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and cost-effectiveness

Conduct site inspections to monitor project progress and compliance with specifications

Supervise engineering staff and provide training and support as necessary

Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, plans, and specifications

Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies to ensure adherence to codes and regulations

Manage contractor relationships and oversee contractor performance on projects, conduct site inspections, certify completed work

Conduct data analysis to inform project planning and execution

Represent the Public Works department in formal meetings, on various boards and presentations to stakeholders
