Project Manager I, II, III (Engineer/Transportation Planner)- Project Development
St. Louis County Government is seeking a Project Manager I, II, III in the Planning and Programming section of the Project Development Division. This role involves managing transportation system improvement studies, developing transportation concept plans, and maintaining GIS street attribute data.

Responsibilities
Operate the Geographical Information Systems (GIS) based Asset Management System software
Manage pavement rating program
Manage external traffic study review and approval along with internal traffic study preparation
Assist in internal concept plan development
Provide engineering support (analysis for planning studies and design projects) for external concept plan and permit review
Conduct research and provide record management
Assist in development and maintenance of Develop and maintain an ongoing, prioritized plan of proposed pavement rehabilitation, pavement preservation and ADA improvement projects that meet the Department's budget constraints and anticipated federal funding availability
Provide support in developing the Department's 5-Year Capital Improvement Plan by aligning projected revenue with the Department's prioritized plan of improvements
Assist in planning studies and other engineering projects as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or other related engineering field or Transportation Planning for Project Manager I
Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and registered as an Engineering Intern with the Missouri Board of Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors for Project Manager II
Registered Professional Engineers or Architects by the Missouri Board of Architects, Professional Engineers, Professional Land Surveyors and Professional Landscape Architects or a certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners and five years of practical experience for Project Manager III
Proficiency in common transportation engineering software
Preferred
Experience with ArcGIS
Experience with MicroStation
Experience with OpenRoads
Experience with Autoturn
Experience with Synchro
Experience with Microsoft Excel
