Responsibilities

Cleans metal parts of all foreign materials and prepares them for painting
Inspects parts for missing welds and other defects
Manually dries parts
Loads and unloads parts, tree rolls, spray cleaning area, and ovens
Maintains cleaning system, including hoses and spray guns
Coordinates component flow with other departments
All other duties as assigned by management

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to wear a full bodysuit with a respirator
Ability to use handle spraying equipment
Ability to communicate with the factory supervisor effectively
Must be able to communicate effectively with factory supervision
Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Able to stand (75%); walk (20%); stoop, kneel, or crouch (5%), as required
Ability to climb a portable ladder
Able to wear safety glasses and foot protection throughout shift
Able to wear hearing protectors (earplugs) throughout the shift while working in an environment with moderate noise levels
