Responsibilities
Drive the creation of original algorithmic solutions for analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, starting from foundational principles and owning the process form ideation through deployment
Design, modeling and optimization of novel algorithms using strong mathematical foundation
Design, modeling and optimization of novel algorithms that are suitable for running in resource-constrained, power-sensitive and time-critical systems
Developing test frameworks and procedures to thoroughly validate algorithm performance
Detailed documentation of algorithm design and usage guidelines for internal and external stakeholders
Leading and participating in design reviews to ensure algorithm quality, robustness and alignment with system requirements
Occasional gathering/clarification of technical specifications
Close collaboration with software and hardware teams
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated history of developing original algorithms that delivered significant impact in solving complex problems, rather than minor enhancements or implementations of existing designs
Strong knowledge of digital signal processing principles, adaptive filtering, estimation theory
Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
Expert knowledge of MATLAB or Python, familiarity with C/C++
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional, distributed teams, including hardware, software, test and product engineering groups
Ability to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, drive progress of activities, risks and deliverables to closure
MSEE in EE or ECE and 5+ years of experience or PhD in related area
Preferred
High speed data converter experience
Familiarity with machine learning algorithms
Leadership skills and experience in directing and mentoring junior engineers
