Responsibilities

Work as a member of a structural design team to design a variety of projects including:Industrial, Commercial, Government, and Water/Wastewater projects

Work with a team in the preparation of calculations, technical reports, design drawings, and specifications for projects of various sizes and complexity

Support senior engineers in project planning, coordination, and delivery

Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines

Use engineering design software to prepare design documents

Accompany Senior Engineers on site visits, field inspections, and construction observation as needed

Performs other duties as requested

Qualification

EIT CertificationCivil EngineeringAutodesk RevitMicrosoft Office SuiteInterpersonal skillsAttention to detailTeam collaboration

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

EIT Certification required

0 - 4 years experience

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret job-related manuals and documents

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

Demonstrates strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast paced-collaborative team atmosphere with an established group of design professionals

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred

Master's degree preferred

Experience using Autodesk Revit is a plus

Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus
