Valley Bank is seeking a Senior Programmer for their Highland Capital division. The role involves programming and maintaining the SFFA system, ensuring proper testing procedures and documentation, as well as collaborating with various departments for software enhancements and reporting needs.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintenance, modifications and system enhancements for the SFFA system, an HCC proprietary system

Analyzes production or testing problems and suggests corrections where required

Codes and tests special software required by the association

Research and remedies problems encountered by User Departments

Tests new or modified software and analyzes results

Prepares required documentation and production turnover

Implements annual software upgrades along with a team

Performs the Dollars monthend close of the current period and opening of the new period

Assists the Accounting dept. and Business Segments with reporting needs derived from the SFFA system

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals

Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill

Comply with all regulations pertaining to BSA, USA PATRIOT ACT, and OFAC. Complete annual BSA training. Report suspicions of criminal activity, or any attempt to avoid BSA reporting requirements on the part of customers or employees, to the AML/BSA Compliance Department. For supervisory positions, ensure BSA training requirements are completed by staff

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of four years of experience in SFFA system design
