Responsibilities

Perform in-house and on-site service and repair of truck equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures
Inspect, fabricate, and repair hydraulic systems and components
Install and test electrical systems (wiring, switches, control boxes)
Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks as needed
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
Ensure high standards of workmanship and documentation compliance
Participate in installation projects and customer equipment demonstrations
Complete all paperwork and equipment logs accurately
Travel for training, certification, or job completion as needed (occasional overnight stays)

Required

3+ years of related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
Proficient in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and fabrication
Skilled in reading schematics, assembly diagrams, and technical manuals
Able to use various shop tools (torches, band saws, electric drills, etc.)
Competent in using Microsoft Office and mobile diagnostic tools
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Able to work independently and manage time efficiently
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction
Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
Must be able to lift various tools, parts and equipment and perform hands-on technical tasks
Willingness to travel occasionally for job assignments or training
Valid driver's license required

Preferred

High school diploma or GED preferred
Technical degree (2 years preferred) in welding, mechanics, or hydraulics
CDL Class B (or ability to obtain within a reasonable time frame)
CDL Class B preferred or willingness to obtain
