Software Engineering Intern (Circuit Simulation)

Responsibilities
Assist R&D staff in developing new algorithms and software for the Spectre circuit simulator
Researching new algorithmic approaches
Software engineering to implement new features
Performing software validation and testing
Investigating performance/accuracy issues in the simulator
Researching and developing Machine Learning approaches to problems in the EDA and system design
Qualification
Required
Working knowledge of various Machine Learning techniques such as linear regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, and neural networks
Practical experience with ML libraries, such as Sklearn and PyTorch
Solid understanding of statistics
Candidate for an advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in electrical engineering, computer science, applied mathematics, or related field
