Responsibilities
Service, Inspecting, testing, and maintaining of low voltage systems
Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry/components and records effects on unit performance
Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener
Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field
Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses
Always maintains a professional attitude and appearance
Keeps a clean and organized work environment
Adheres to all NEW ERA policies in regard to dress code, safety, attendance, etc
Other duties may occur at your managers discretion
Some Engineering for Nurse Call
Qualification
Required
Prior Fire Alarm service experience
Obtain Fire Alarm NICET certification
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Familiarity with basic hand tools
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder
Associate degree (or minimum 2 years of experience) in Fire Alarm Testing and Inspections
Ability to stand on a concrete floor for long periods
Ability to lift and/or move equipment at least 60 pounds on a repetitive basis
Must be able to lift equipment and construction supplies from floor height to overhead while loading/unloading trucks or preparing equipment for installations, service calls, and events
Ability to climb and work (stack, adjust, and repair) at heights in excess of 25' before/during installations and job sites
Ability to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers
Reaching, grasping and carrying activities are also required
Must have a clean driving record and valid / current driver's license
Ability to drive a company van to client sites
Preferred
Preferred CCTV, Access Control/ security experience
