5+ years expTPO search is representing a top-tier law firm seeking a Senior Associate to join its highly respected Strategic Transactions practice in Boston. The successful candidate will advise clients on intellectual property transactions and manage the lifecycle of these transactions while mentoring junior associates.

Responsibilities
Advise public and private clients on strategic transactions, including licensing and collaboration agreements, mergers and acquisitions, supply and distribution arrangements, and other commercial agreements where intellectual property is a key consideration
Manage the entire lifecycle of transactions, from client engagement to execution
Lead and mentor junior associates and manage due diligence processes
Lead business development initiatives and participate in client pitching
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (JD) degree, Master of Law (LLM), or foreign equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of law firm experience in intellectual property transactions within the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, healthcare, or technology industries
Proven experience analyzing and drafting licensing agreements, collaboration agreements, and other commercial agreements
Significant experience advising clients on strategic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
Expertise in managing IP due diligence processes, including drafting due diligence memoranda
Ability to manage, mentor, and delegate work to junior associates, with experience reviewing legal research and related memoranda
Member of the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility to become admitted
