Responsibilities
Provides innovative solutions to unusually complex and sensitive problems requiring ingenuity and creativity
Serve as technical consultant and technical leader
Evaluates work and communicates progress toward career development as well as goals
Engage with customers and suppliers on and product roadmaps and support
Participates in corporate strategy development through advocacy for programs and projects within their technical area
Communicates progress toward projects and program goals
Leads development strategies and implements operational policies and directives
Develops and provides challenging and tracks assignments and deliverables
Strong knowledge and application of engineering concepts
Able to manage engineering experts in mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, compliance and CAD
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, Safety and quality standards
Work with suppliers and partners to manage design, validation, qualification, and fabrication of complex hardware platforms
Strong ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in hardware systems environments and detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Cross-Functional capabilities
Customer focused
Able to adapt to change
Qualification
Required
15+ years of experience in HW Product Development
Requires 4+ years managerial/leadership experience
Highly self-motivated with a strong multidisciplinary background
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Successful track record bringing products to market
Strong knowledge and application of engineering concepts
Able to manage engineering experts in mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, compliance and CAD
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, Safety and quality standards
Work with suppliers and partners to manage design, validation, qualification, and fabrication of complex hardware platforms
