Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, and development of commercial and residential real estate
Represent institutional borrowers in construction and stabilized financings, including debt fund, structured finance, and CMBS-style financings
Lead-drafting and negotiation of real estate loan documents, including transactions with mezzanine and complex capital stack components
Work closely with senior attorneys and support the development of junior associates
Engage with institutional clients on high-value, multi-faceted deals
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in real estate transactions and financings at a leading law firm
Strong borrower-side loan expertise; joint venture experience a plus
Skilled negotiator with experience leading transactions
Strong academic record and admitted in Texas
Comfortable working with institutional clients and managing complex deal structures
