Responsibilities

Gain experience in a variety of areas, including process changes, problem solving, ergonomics, equipment development, new product launch support, automation analysis and implementation, and AutoCAD site layout drawings

Interact with several different team members as well as teams from Production and various Engineering functions

Work with vendors, suppliers, and machine builders internal and external to MillerKnoll

Participate on a cross-functional team to complete a Co-Op project

Attain on-the-job work experience aligned with your career objectives

Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualification

AutoCADSolidWorksMechanical EngineeringChemical EngineeringProblem SolvingCommunication SkillsOrganizational Skills

Required

Enrolled and pursuing a 4-year Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited college or university

Cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 to qualify for consideration in the Co-op Program

Satisfactorily finished with the basic coursework in your chosen degree program

In favorable academic standing within your current academic program or major

Authorized to work in the United States

Able to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations

Familiar with AutoCAD and solid works software

A strong communicator with good organizational skills

Capable of working both under supervision and without supervision

Able to meet deadlines and budget requirements
