Responsibilities
Maintain an organized and up to date road kit and office area
Scout new business opportunities as well as maintaining current book of business with a consistent call schedule and reporting activities via CRM program
Schedule appointments regularly with clients offering presentations of our product line and maintaining a presence and sampling in libraries within design firm offices
Consistent follow upon previous sales calls, leads and open quotes and clear communication with clients to manage expectations
Achieve and exceed sales goals on a consistent basis
Attend key client/industry events, company sales meetings, and/or trade shows as required
Maintain weekly summary reports to Executive team
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in management and/or the equivalent relevant work experience
A wallcoverings, luxury goods, home furnishings and/or interior design background
3-5 year established sales experience working with the A+D community in the local NY market working with top interior designers and firms with a current book or knowledge of accounts to combine with an assigned account base
Develop a deep understanding of our products and our brand and be a consistent resource for our clients
Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to cultivate long-term relationships with prospective new leads as well as growing existing client base to obtain new business
Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
A commitment to providing excellent customer service
