Responsibilities
Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Production, Warehouse, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales) to understand their business processes, challenges, and information system needs
Facilitate business process analysis, identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for IT teams
Work closely with IT teams and super users to ensure technical solutions accurately reflect business requirements and integrate seamlessly with existing systems
Participate in system design, data modeling, and interface design discussions
Oversee and actively participate in the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems
Lead the development of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and quality standards
Collaborate with Super Users and other support teams to identify and troubleshoot process, data and system issues, working with IT and vendors to resolve them
Support building cost-benefit analyses for proposed solutions and project-level initiatives
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation, including business process flows, system specifications, user manuals, and training materials
Facilitate training and ongoing support to super-users in support of the adoption of new systems and processes
Liaison between business stakeholders and external vendors
Participate and often lead project management activities, including scope definition, timeline management, and resource allocation, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field or equivalent technical experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in business process modeling and documentation
Preferred
Experience with project management methodologies
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques
Six Sigma Green Belt ideal
