Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing, values-driven team aligned with Weidmann’s Leadership Principles
Set clear expectations, coach team members, and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards
Drive department performance by establishing and tracking key KPIs for shipping, receiving, inventory, and delivery
Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company and legal standards
Manage warehouse organization, storage procedures, and inventory control to meet service and accuracy goals
Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service to address order issues, shortages, and demand changes
Lead inventory processes including cycle counts, audits, and physical inventories while maintaining data integrity in SAP
Prepare and manage department budget and drive continuous improvement through SOPs and documentation
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies as well as compliance with ISO 9000 (QMS), 14001(EMS), and 18001 (OSHAS)
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and Business Management
5+ years of progressive supervisory experience required in the Shipping & Receiving department
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
Experience in developing and maintaining collaborative relationships and aligned partnerships with executives, managers, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
Demonstrated ability to complete projects or initiatives that meet or exceed business objectives
Previous experience with an ERP system is required
Preferred
5+ years of progressive supervisory experience in the Shipping & Receiving department, in a manufacturing environment preferred
SAP preferred
Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus
