Law Practice
Responsibilities
Preparing probate and administration petitions
Drafting estate and trust accountings, receipts, and releases
Preparing asset inventories and valuations
Assisting executors with marshaling and managing probate assets
Preparing federal and state estate tax returns
Supporting trust administration and fiduciary accounting
Qualification
Required
A two- or four-year degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
Minimum of three years of current Trusts & Estates paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of probate procedures, Surrogate's Court practice, and fiduciary income tax returns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, proactive, and professional workstyle
Comfortable with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with HotDocs and FAS accounting system is a plus
