Senior Autonomy/AI Research Engineer

Tokyo Electron (TEL) is a leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, and they are seeking a Senior Autonomy/AI Research Engineer to lead projects related to the autonomous operation of semiconductor equipment. Must be able to report on-site in our San Jose, CA office three days per week. Current days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. Hours are flexible

Required

7+ years of relevant experience (such as computer science/AI research, software engineering, machine learning, scheduling and planning, or knowledge representation)
3+ years of experience with complex hardware + software systems
PhD or MSc in Computer Science or adjacent areas, or BSc with 10+ years of AI/ML/Comp Sci research excellence required
