Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors

Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contract terms

Address and resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers

Lead negotiations for contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers

Ensure contracts align with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to review and finalize contracts

Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet company goals

Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and industry trends

Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability

Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings

Implement cost-effective purchasing practices without compromising quality

Track and report on cost savings and procurement metrics

Work closely with internal departments (e.g., finance, operations, and production) to understand procurement needs

Support product development teams by sourcing materials and services

Provide procurement insights to inform business decisions and strategies

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Manage procurement risks by identifying potential issues and developing mitigation strategies

Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation

Assist finance leadership with ad-hoc projects or operational initiatives, as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management

Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and supplier management

Strong understanding of procurement processes, market dynamics, and industry best practices

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills

Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred

Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus
