Responsibilities

Operate and maintain:

Boilers, motors, compressors, pumps, valves, blowers

Ensure maximum energy efficiency

Perform and record tests:

Fuel consumption, pressure, temperature, steam flow

Add required chemical treatments for steam, water, and fuel

Maintain compliance with regulations and safety standards

Maintain a clean, orderly work environment

Conduct continuous inspections and report issues

Be on-call for Power Plant emergencies

Maintain detailed logs and records, and complete all paperwork

Analyze and troubleshoot problems

Perform additional duties as assigned including maintenance task through out multiple buildings and snow removal
