Service Technician I

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and service tasks
Prepare and submit work orders, expense reports and timesheets to the respective departments
Evaluate products accurately for maintenance, warranty, upgrades and other purposes
Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembling parts and components
Collaborate closely with technical team to resolve technical issues
May provide training to service staff on how to identify and resolve issues, repairs, etc
Understand customer requirements and accordingly recommend the right products or services
May conduct client demonstration when required
Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis, evaluation and diagnoses
May provide training to customers about product usage and maintenance
Support the field staff in equipment set-up for trade shows or exhibitions
Prepare creative product presentations for sales meetings or trainings
Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding and excellent services
Prepare and distribute maintenance records, warranty contracts, installation report and other service reports to the senior managers
Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively to meet sales goals

Required

Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and understand blueprints
Strong analytical skills
HS diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience preferably in a sport vehicle related industry
Manufacturing Environment
Lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer
