Responsibilities

Executing the planning, development, and integration of advanced manufacturing technologies to resolve technical manufacturing problems
Guiding the development of the next generation of Manufacturing Technology engineers through day-to-day and high-level technical direction and oversight
Researching advancements in non-destructive technologies to define and develop methods of carbon composite part inspection
Performing project management functions (budget and schedule management, status reporting, cost benefit analysis, etc.) for both government-funded and internally-funded Manufacturing Technology projects
Providing technical status reporting and troubleshooting for F-35 component-specific build areas for Manufacturing Technology's technical project portfolio

Required

Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical field
Project management experience
Experience with advanced measurement equipment
Experience with technical writing or presenting
Security Clearance: Secret

Preferred

Experience with non-destructive inspection equipment
Experience with carbon fiber/fiberglass composite materials and manufacturing
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of coding and programming languages such as Python, Java or C++ and ability to apply concepts and coding language to script or automate tasks
Experience with Metrology solutions and devices along with analysis software programs such as Polyworks, Geomagic, etc
Experience with laser optics or directed energy development
Strong technical presentation skills and experience presenting to executive leadership
