They are searching for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of mechanical systems while mentoring junior engineers and supporting proposal efforts. The role involves managing design projects across various markets and geographies.

Responsibilities
Taking leadership in the design of mechanical systems (including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing and piping)
Mentoring junior/mid-level mechanical engineering professionals
Supporting proposal efforts
Moving quickly and efficiently through a variety of design stages ranging from concept plans to construction documentation
Qualification
Required
BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
15+ years of related engineering experience
Proficient with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM
Experience mentoring and training employees
Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts and interfacing with clients
Ability to travel 25% of the time
Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally
Preferred
PE license is a strong plus
EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future
