Platform Engineering Intern - 2026 Summer Internship
Nasdaq is looking for a passionate and curious Platform Engineering Intern to join their team for the summer. This hands-on opportunity allows you to contribute to a real-world project focused on building and improving internet-scale infrastructure alongside experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
Contribute to a summer intern project focused on platform scalability, reliability, or developer experience
Collaborate with engineers on the design, development, and deployment of platform components
Participate in team stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning
Learn and apply best practices in software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps, and SRE
Qualification
Required
AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, etc.)
CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab)
Docker and containerization
Git and version control workflows
Understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
Comfortable working in a team and communicating effectively
Enthusiastic about building scalable systems and developer tools
Preferred
Interest or experience in AI agents or intelligent automation
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
Exposure to observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog)
