ATI is currently seeking an engineering intern in its Specialty Rolled Products R&D division. The internship will primarily be focused on thermomechanical testing using ATI’s Gleeble machine and involves analyzing test data and writing reports with processing recommendations.

Responsibilities

Use the Gleeble machine to test different alloys at different temperature ranges (training will be provided)

Analyze test data

Write reports containing processing recommendations

Interface with project engineers who request testing services

Perform research on prior test data related to projects

If necessary, the intern will also perform other related analysis, including SEM imaging and submitting samples for outside testing
