Responsibilities

Aligning parts on jigs using templates and fixtures
Performing part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, crimping, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling, and reaming
Measuring parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions
Modifying incomplete and complete assemblies to incorporate changes to structure
Monitoring and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 4-years of relatable aircraft experience in manufacturing/production experience (or similar) for Level 3
Perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: lifting over 25 pounds, working with chemicals, prolonged overhead work, climbing up and down ladders, prolonged kneeling, bending, or stooping, carrying tools, testing for and wearing a respirator, and working in awkward and/or confined spaces
DoD Secret Security Clearance and special program access required to start, but not required to apply
Ability to read and interpret schematics, assembly drawings, process specifications, technical manuals, written instructions, test procedures, etc
Ability to work flexible, changing shifts, including weekends
Must successfully complete and pass the 'ASTAR New Hire Training / Compliance' within a reasonable time period, as defined by the company to meet its business need
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 6-years of relatable aircraft experience in manufacturing/production experience (or similar) for Level 4
