This hybrid role combines document control and technical writing responsibilities, requiring the ability to work independently and produce accurate documentation.

Responsibilities
Author and update technical documentation for Dematic projects and products
Handle product documentation requests, research project statuses, answer questions, and follow up as needed
Obtain, verify, and prepare all contractual documentation elements, including mechanical and electrical engineering content for customer use
Gather and organize parts content from designated systems, along with Dematic and third-party vendor manuals
Format, edit, and redact sensitive information in documents
Enter and maintain project tracking information
Must be able to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting quality standards
Utilize existing engineering resources and historical documentation to complete tasks sometimes without direct engineering support
Conduct effective research to ensure technical accuracy
Qualification
Required
Senior-level experience in technical writing and/or engineering documentation
Proven ability to produce technical documentation for complex mechanical, controls, and software systems
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
Familiarity with manufacturing or warehouse automation environments
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
BS/BA in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to understand complex technical information and convey it in clear, practical language
Strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Ability to follow strict guidelines and apply documentation standards, styles, and templates
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong project management and communication skills
Effective research abilities
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Preferred
Experience with Component Content Management Systems (CCMS) and basic web coding (HTML, CSS)
