Electrical Engineering Design Intern - Installations
Bloom Energy is a leader in the global energy transition, providing innovative solutions for clean and reliable energy. The Electrical Engineering Design Intern will assist in designing fuel cell-based microgrids and develop installation drawings to enhance customer power resiliency.

Responsibilities
Coordinate with team members to design fuel cell based microgrids to improve customer power resiliency
Develop installation drawings packages for new fuel cell installation projects. This includes AutoCAD drafting and working with the drafting team to update the installation drawings as the design progresses
Create wiring diagrams to ensure the fuel cell system will behave as expected on site
Support template updates to improve accuracy for future projects
Qualification
Required
Currently a student earning a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Construction Management required
Preferred
Expert understanding of AutoCAD for 2-D drawings
Basic understanding of electrical engineering design principles
Basic understanding of electrical engineering and architectural details as used in building plan sets
Ability to read/create an electrical single line diagram
Ability to understand existing installations and recreate plan set and as-built drawings as necessary
Excellent communication skills
Highly motivated and a self-starter
