Business Development Manager - Strategic Accounts

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships at the executive level within your assigned strategic account
Identify, create, and close new sales opportunities, managing the full sales pipeline from initial contact to order delivery
Create, execute, and continually refine strategic business plans for your account and alliances, aligning our video solutions with their long-term vision
Serve as the product expert, preparing comprehensive proposals and quotes, and overseeing the sale of our full suite of Avigilon and MSI products and services
Identify key surveillance market trends and influencers, positioning our products as the superior solution in the industry
Collaborate closely with our Global Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams, providing crucial end-user feedback to drive product improvements
Collaborate with internal team members to develop account plans, create marketing strategies, generate end-user leads, and implement training programs
Develop standardized strategic partnership presentations and sales tools that clearly articulate the Avigilon value proposition to our partners' enterprise teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of successful sales or business development experience, specifically within the video security solutions industry
Direct experience with Johnson Controls is a significant advantage
A proven track record of delivering exceptional sales results and fostering high-value, collaborative relationships
Strong technical acumen and the confidence to discuss complex products and solutions with both technical and business audiences
Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Solid understanding of channel strategies and go-to-market initiatives
Excellent time management; the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment is non-negotiable
Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience OR 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
