Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers, including, but not limited to: staff, volunteers, visitors, guests
Order and maintain supplies
Answer incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously and screens calls to determine appropriate person or response needed
Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and unit operations, presents implementation suggestions to manager
General duties, including preparing and completing paperwork, arranging meetings, computer generated forms, inputting data, compiling information, and distribution/processing of files to completion
Answers questions, retrieves information, or generates reports for management as needed
Receive and log records, files, or paperwork, verifying completeness and accuracy
Attend staff meetings on scheduled workdays
Accept assignments by leadership
Independently offer assistance to peers or other staff members when workload allows
Participate in department and Rush quality improvement initiatives

Required

High school diploma or GED
One year business experience
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including computer skills
Able to type 25 words per minute (wpm) or greater

Strong problem solving skills
Ability to multitask
Flexible both in schedule to provide coverage seven days a week, 24 hours a day as necessary
