Jr. Sales Consultant

Empire Homes is one of North America’s largest private homebuilders, and they are seeking new sales professionals to support their continued growth in the greater Atlanta area. The Jr. New Home Sales Consultant will be responsible for communicating company products and services, identifying and qualifying prospects, and expediting the home buying process to achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities

Understand what competitive set is doing and provide comparison with Empire Homes
Ensure knowledge is current on all community information (i.e., schools, utilities, tax information, shopping, local employment centers, and recreation areas) and any other information requested by Empire’s customers
Comprehend all Empire sales agreements and addendum, complete them accurately and deliver in a timely manner
Maintain a good line of communication with all potential homebuyers and employees
Track and follow each homebuyer and service their needs throughout the sales process, with customer-oriented service as set forth in Empire training
Ensure model homes and inventory homes are neat and clean
Walk model homes and inventory homes regularly and prepare a written punch list for the builder in order to maintain the model in 100% condition
Place and monitor all on-site signage as needed (i.e. home site signs, inventory signs, open house signs, etc.)
Maintain and understand the Lead Management System and ensure it is accurate and up to date
Develop, practice and deliver a strong sales presentation to prospective buyers consistent with company training
Completion of registration cards for all prospects
Evaluation of all traffic for quality
Complete all company paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
Collect all required monies from homebuyers
Maintain a good line of communication with Leadership
Communicate the entire process to all homebuyers with weekly updates during the construction of their home
Maintain constant communication with the closing coordinator(s) to expedite all processes and ensure a swift closing process
Communication and weekly visits with Realtors in order to generate referral sales through excellent customer relations
Promote self and Empire by attending various Realtor and HBA functions
Communication with buyers’ lenders during the process

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in new home construction industry
May be licensed or unlicensed
Proficiency with internal and external communications, including the creation of reports, presentations and database management
Solid understanding of the home building process and able to communicate that process effectively to prospective home buyers
Proven sales ability, influencer and negotiator
