Responsibilities
Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial and technology-related agreements, including development, supply, manufacturing services, software licensing, services, and other bespoke agreements
Supporting and directly advising business partners on legal, commercial, operational, regulatory, and other risks
Developing, advising on, and implementing vendor engagement, contractual, and negotiation strategies
Collaborating cross-functionally to identify and resolve commercial, operational, compliance, regulatory, security, safety, legal, and customer/vendor issues
Qualification
Required
2+ years of legal experience
Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
Preferred
Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent
Knowledge of IT/technology transactions or equivalent
Knowledge of specific legal AI tools (like CoCounsel, Spellbook, or Harvey AI) and their benefits
Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision making among stakeholders with competing goals
Experience with complex commercial/legal concepts and drafting, ability to quickly read and interpret legal terminology and reasoning
Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor
