Newton Research is a fast-growing software start-up focused on developing AI agents for the media lifecycle. The Data Scientist will be responsible for creating data models and algorithms while collaborating with teams and mentoring others in a dynamic environment.

Required

Master's or PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Strong foundation in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning concepts

Proficiency in Python, including familiarity with data science libraries like pandas and scikit-learn

Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases

Demonstrated ability to approach data challenges systematically and creatively

Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

Preferred

Familiarity with big data technologies or cloud computing platforms is a plus

Experience in projects or internships involving collaboration with teams is a plus

Experience in media, marketing, advertising, or related industries is a plus
