Responsibilities

Develop scripts for monitoring the state of the production environment and its dependencies for an automated trading desk

Work with the Platform Engineering team to assist in server imaging, testing and deployment

Act as a liaison between the trading desk and network, security, market data and platform teams for system level production issues and new setups

Monitor and support a highly distributed production system

Provide multi-level support for traders, strategists and quantitative researchers

Required

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Demonstrated proficiency in scripting languages (Python, bash, shell) required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with traders, quants and other developers required

Ability to work in a fast paced environment required

Ability to work in office 5 days per week

Preferred

Excellent quantitative skills are strongly preferred

Good understanding of financial instruments and markets is a plus
