Responsibilities

Design and develop electronic circuits for laser control and characterization

Integrate and characterize optoelectronic components, including photodetectors, modulators, and laser systems, and high speed cameras diodes

Develop and implement RF signal detection and processing techniques for optical systems

Work with single-mode and multi-mode fiber optics for system integration and signal transmission

Perform system-level testing, data analysis, and debugging of optical and RF systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including optics, mechanical, and software engineers

Document design specifications, test procedures, and technical reports

Stay current with advancements in photonics, RF systems, and relevant technologies

Required

Proficient with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and optical power meters

Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design
