Senior Manager, International Tax

Responsibilities
Identifying and implementing tax planning opportunities, including optimizing tax structures, mitigating risks, and advising on the tax implications of business decisions and transactions (e.g., mergers and acquisitions) and legal entity optimization to positively Impact Profit and Loss (P&L) and Cash Flow
Provide tax research (for special projects) to improve cash flow/net income regarding tax planning, organizational structuring, business and cross-border transactions
Liaise with business units to implement specific tax projects - Improving financial results
Lead the planning, assessment, implementation, and monitoring of processes related to Pillar Two tax regime, including analyzing financial data, reviewing calculations of potential tax liabilities, and ensuring compliance with evolving rules across various jurisdictions
Supervise the preparation and submission of the global Master File, CbCR reports and notifications, including monitoring and complying with public disclosure requirements
Expertise in utilizing tax research platforms (CCH, Bloomburg Tax, etc.)
Ability to write and present technical tax memoranda and white papers
Keeping abreast of new international tax developments and assessing their potential impact on the Company
Provide guidance on application of U.S. and international tax laws & regulations for certain tax compliance requirements
Identify and support initiatives to leverage tax technology solutions, streamline tax processes, and enhance efficiency in tax management
Qualification
Required
10 or more years of experience encompassing comprehensive Federal (domestic/international) tax compliance experience with large multi-national corporation
Working knowledge of U.S. Federal (domestic/international), state and Latin America (LA) tax laws and Asia Pacific (AP), U.S. GAAP and international tax rules/practices
Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP deferred tax accounting rules
Experience working in a team environment (drawing upon collective ideas to develop meaningful strategies and plans)
Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
Expertise in utilizing tax research platforms (CCH, Bloomburg Tax, etc.)
Ability to write and present technical tax memoranda and white papers
Keeping abreast of new international tax developments and assessing their potential impact on the Company
Provide guidance on application of U.S. and international tax laws & regulations for certain tax compliance requirements
