The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Senior Outreach Coordinator to serve as a liaison between outside clients and the Clinical Laboratories. This role is responsible for enhancing operational opportunities and extending net revenue for the clinical laboratories while providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Develops and manages collaborations with laboratory administration and administrative leadership of regional hospitals and outreach clients

Responsible for coordinating all outreach collection facilities, including client services, courier services, sales and marketing and technical support

Support the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives of the organization and demonstrate a commitment to quality service to patients, physicians, the public and co-workers

Function as an integral part of the laboratory operations outreach team

Work in partnership to identify, develop and implement operational opportunities to enhance the Wexner Medical Center's operations and to extend net revenue for OSUWMC clinical laboratories

Serve as a liaison between the medical center and community organizations, clinics, healthcare organizations, elder communities and their organizations, as well as government agencies

Serve on internal committees at OSU representing the Community's interests

Assist in collaborations with regional hospitals and WMC programs designed to strengthen their relationships with the communities they serve

Actively engage and support contracted clients of OSU Reference Laboratories (OSURL) through customer service, test audits, quality reports, financial reports, billing audits

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Health Education, Nursing, Health Services Administration or related field

4 years of relevant experience required

Maintains certification status

Meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements

Demonstrates competence in the technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions

Preferred

4 - 8 years of relevant experience preferred
