Responsibilities

Take ownership of enterprise-wide initiatives that ensure accuracy, accountability, and confidence in HR and Payroll practices
Develop and lead audit plans to assess compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across multiple jurisdictions
Identify operational and regulatory risks within HR and Payroll processes and recommend actionable mitigation strategies
Prepare clear, concise audit reports and present findings, trends, and recommendations to HR and business leadership
Track compliance metrics and audit outcomes to inform decision-making and continuous improvement efforts
Serve as the primary point of contact for ISO audits, coordinating documentation, responses, and follow-ups
Collaborate across teams to ensure labor agreements and policies remain current, compliant, and consistently applied
Maintain and manage documentation for active CBAs; lead implementation and renewal projects with cross-functional alignment and timeline control
Monitor changes in employment laws and partner with HR and Legal to interpret and operationalize requirements across jurisdictions
Lead periodic reviews and updates of employee handbooks, HR forms, and compliance documentation
Support the development and delivery of compliance training and communications for HR and business leaders
Partner with HR and Payroll owners to maintain accurate process documentation and control frameworks

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of progressive HR and Payroll experience with direct responsibility for HR compliance
Strong working knowledge of U.S. employment laws across multiple states and jurisdictions
Proven project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives
Proficiency with enterprise HRIS, ATS, timekeeping systems, and reporting tools; intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Must be able to travel independently to U.S. locations including Hawaii
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, except as prohibited by law

Preferred

Experience with unionized environments and CBAs strongly preferred; multi-entity experience a plus
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred

Benefits

Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
Annual Incentive Opportunity: 10% of eligible compensation
