The Electronics Test Technician will conduct complex testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products, ensuring design verification and acceptance through various testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Responsible for design verification and acceptance testing of pyrotechnic and electronic products

Must be familiar with test equipment (i.e.: oscilloscopes, multimeters, environmental chambers)

Reviews system-level Acceptance Test Procedures for electrical devices

Troubleshooting, calibration and adjustments to test equipment, components, and systems

Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components

Use small hand and power tools along with various measuring and testing devices

Perform appropriate duties associated with specialized IT project-based activities

Participate in process improvement meetings and team 5S activities

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

1 year+ of testing and/or mechanical inspection

Knowledge in the use of basic electronic test equipment (volt meters, current meters, O-scopes)

Basic mechanical measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and hand tools

Familiarity with MS office products

High school diploma or equivalent

Capable of lifting 40 pounds

Preferred

AS in related field and/or military experience preferred
