Dreamwear is a leading wholesale intimate apparel and sleepwear company working with various well-known brands. They are seeking an Assistant Designer who will support the design team by researching trends, managing sample development, and assisting in the production process.

Responsibilities

Research the market for seasonal trends, colors, prints and silhouettes to support the senior team

Responsible for sending out tech packs and sample requests, along with production artwork and color standards

Execute organized and accurate technical development packages that include construction details, sketches, fabrications, trims, print, and color details

Correspond with overseas factories regarding production

Assist designers with the trim and fabric library, color palettes, and flat sketching

Work with the senior team to make sure artwork is sized correctly and for choosing colors

Execute production packages including color and trim specifications and prepare production ready print and graphic artwork

Track and follow up on development and fabric sourcing

Required

Preferred

Fashion degree (or equivalent) strongly preferred
