Responsibilities
Responsible for coordination with the Patient Billing Dept, field staff and business operations to assure compliance with all billing regulations
Responsible for processing patient accounts, verification of billing, monitors workflow and identifies operational problems
Maintains data bases, spreadsheets, and computer and paper files related to interfaced software packages
Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Three years' experience required
Knowledge of medical terminology, Homecare medical records and patient accounting are required
Excellent computer skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications required
Preferred
Five years' experience in Homecare medical records and HCMS software preferred
Excellent communications, problem solving skills, customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with co-workers is preferred
