Office Coordinator - Surgical Specialty (F/T Days)

Responsibilities
Perform a wide variety of duties to provide clerical and administrative support
Activities include, but are not limited to: phones, billing, appointment scheduling, patient registration, office supply inventory, transcription, filing, insurance verification and other duties as assigned
Interacts with co-workers and members of other departments
Assists in unit operational support tasks; assists with Human Resources management; works cooperatively with others as part of a team and recognizes the importance of group goals
Responds to requests within authorized scope of knowledge and skills
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required with coursework in clerical skills
A minimum of two-five years' experience in a medical office setting
Typing proficiency required
Medical terminology required
