Responsibilities
Support a one‑of‑a‑kind Cross Business Area campaign
Be the technical driver for technology trade‑studies, rapid‑prototype explorations, and alternative‑solution assessments
Work side‑by‑side with the Innovations Lead, Lead Systems AWS Infrastructure Architect, AI/ML engineers, the Advisory Board, and external research partners
Qualification
Required
A self‑starter
An experienced Systems Engineer who can take a strategic view on technology insertion
An engineer committed to delivering high‑quality, cutting‑edge technology for our customers and allies worldwide
Preferred
Direct experience with continuous‑innovation programs (e.g., DARPA, AFRL, Skunk‑Works‑style technology insertion)
Experience integrating AI/ML pipelines (SageMaker Feature Store, model‑serving) into system‑level architectures and evaluating their impact on latency, power, and safety
Familiarity with AWS Well‑Architected Framework and ability to incorporate cost‑modeling into trade‑study scoring
Background working with non‑DoD commercial customers that have high‑security requirements
Additional certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, CISSP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
